Carhenge 3

Carhenge 3

Carhenge, near Alliance, Nebraska, is a replica of Stonehenge made from junk cars painted a uniform gray. Constructed in 1987 by Jim Reinders, it’s become both a popular tourist stop and – to some people- a monument to the culture of the automobile, and to the industrial and consumer society of 20th century America.
