A new life begins for Russia’s LADA cars – as Renault-Nissan has signed a deal with Avtovaz and Ros -Technologies corporation to take control over the Russian carmaker. The companies are creating a joint venture, where Renault-Nissan will get 50% + 1 share by 2014, while providing another 750 million dollars of investment. RT’s Dmitry Medvedenko caught up with the head of Renault-Nissan, and started by asking how much money the conglomerate has already spent on the troubled Russian brand.
