As medical students have cadvaers to practise on, trainee Motor Vehicle ‘technicians’ have an old Rover and Ford to dissect.
The car behind the Rover is a Ford Escort estate, registration W976 KDT. At the far corner is an old Crypton Cudos "system 900" engine analyser.
These cars are used for training courses at Loughborough College.
Excerpt from the College’s prospectus:
"Our Motor Vehicle Team work alongside industry leaders to develop an exciting range of courses that prepare our students for working life. We work closely with employers giving our students a competitive edge. New students will also have access to a new Motor Vehicle Body & Paint and ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) training facility which opened in September 2012."
