People take buses all the time. Some people use their smartphones while the riding on the bus. Other people read the newspaper. Other people take in the scenery and daydream. That’s what I love to do while I’m riding the bus. Last night on the way home from work, I found myself daydreaming about being on a party bus rather than the regular city bus. In my daydream, a stranger handed me a business card that had visite our party buses printed on it. I remember that phrase so vividly, because it reminded me of the way some words are spelled differently in Toronto.

My vision stuck with me when I got home. I immediately went online and started looking at party buses in the area. I knew that it wasn’t realistic for me to be able to take a party bus to and from work every day, but I thought it would be a lot of fun if I arranged for a party bus excursion for an evening. The website I found was filled with lots of different options in terms of the buses and vehicles available. I decided the small bus would be adequate, because I would really only invite a few people. I would invite my boyfriend, brother, sister, my best friend, my boyfriend’s best friend, and maybe some coworkers.

I can’t believe that a simple daydream has come to fruition. I booked the bus that same evening, and we’re scheduled to go to a museum next weekend. I know that a lot of people wouldn’t exactly consider going to a museum a party activity, but my friends and I really enjoy that sort of thing. Maybe after the museum will have some time to stop at a bar. If not, I’m not too worried about it. We’ll have plenty of time to party on the bus.
