A series of eight shots I took of my friend’s VX Holden Commodore recently. These are my first attempts at shooting cars with a view to having them printed in magazines and my first attempts at using strobes as my main light source for automotive photography.

Strobist: In this shot I used a 580EXII to create the glow from underneath the car with a number of hits. I also used a 430EXII to hit the body four times from the front to light the body and wheels. Just using the test button and flashes all on full power.
