I had expected the local to switch the north side of the mill but instead they dropped the two tanks and ran light to this warehouse just west of town. The cars they dropped on the way east are visible in the distance, the two they’re grabbing on the west end will be brought back to Bradley. This really is a fun line to shoot, good public access, variety of small industries, and a daytime schedule. For that matter it would make a great model railroad layout as well.
Since they were making quick work of the day’s limited traffic it was worth following them back to Bradley. I didn’t pay close enough attention to see if these cars are loaded inbound or outbound and it didn’t make much difference with this HP to ton ratio. November 28, 2018.
